Pick a Pumpkin at These Farms Near Waco
Fall has arrived! Making now the perfect time to head out to a local farm to pick your own pumpkins. Our real estate agents love helping new residents explore the area, so they've made it a point to find all of the best pumpkin patches nearby. Here are a few they recommend.
- The Pumpkin Patch: 201 S. Old Robinson Rd., Robinson, TX 76706
The Pumpkin Patch has been a favorite in the area for over 10 years. Not only can you find the perfect pumpkin here, but you can also enjoy free hayrides, photo ops, games, a corn pit, a maze, and more. In addition, this year, they've expanded their Pumpkin Patch Country Store. You'll be able to visit local vendors and purchase baked goods, crafts, home decor, and other handmade items. The Pumpkin Patch is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm throughout October. When you visit, make sure you set aside some time to take a drive around and explore some of the great Robinson homes for sale.
- Lone Star Family Farm: 4199 Hwy. 67, Stephenville, TX 76401
When you visit Lone Star Family Farm, you'll enjoy a whole day of adventure. The kids will love the corn maze, hayrides, giant slides, cow train, pedal carts, and more. While they're playing, you can shop for Halloween decorations and fall decor. You'll also have the chance to get some Instagram-worthy family photos and, of course, pick out the perfect pumpkins and gourds. - Sancho Rancho Pumpkin Patch: 981 Coyote Run, Waco, TX, 76705
This is the inaugural year for the Sancho Rancho Pumpkin Patch. If you happen to be in the area checking out Waco homes for sale, you'll definitely want to stop by and check it out. They're open every weekend in October, and the event will include food trucks, a petting zoo, games, hayrides, and lots of family-friendly fun. You can visit them on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 8 pm and on Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm. Admission is just $10 per car, so load up the whole family and come on out!
- The Pumpkin Patch at Central Christian Church: 4901 Lake Shore Dr., Waco, TX 76710
The Pumpkin Patch at Central Christian Church has been operating every year since 2006. There's no admission charge to visit the pumpkin patch, and it offers plenty of great photo ops. The pumpkin patch is open every day throughout October, from 10 am to 7:30 pm.
- Mainstay Farm Park: 1004 W. Bethesda Rd. Cleburne, TX 76031
The "Pumpkin Days" at Mainstay Farm Park are back again! If you've been looking at Cleburne homes for sale, this is sure to become one of your favorite annual outings. When you visit, you'll have the chance to pick out a beautiful pumpkin, enjoy five varieties of Mainstay Farm wine, and participate in over 20 different activities. This year, they have a "Texas Big Wheel" Ferris wheel, and rides are included in your admission.
