The Board of Trustees of the Blooming Grove Independent School District (BGISD) hereby serves notice that BGISD will accept sealed bids for the following real properties & any improvements thereto: Property located on corner of W. 2nd St & Elm St, BG, TX 76626, & further described as Lot 1 and 2, Block K, Original Townsite, City of Blooming Grove, Navarro County, Texas according to map or plat thereof, recorded in Book 57, Page 106, Deed Records of Navarro County, Texas (Parcel IDS 34116, 34115, & 51445) (Property 1). Property located on corner of Elm St & 3rd St, BG, TX 76626, & further described as Lot 3, 4, and 5, Block K, Original Townsite, City of Blooming Grove, Navarro County, Texas according to map or plat thereof, recorded in Book 57, Page 106, Deed Records of Navarro County, Texas (Parcel IDS 34117, 34118, and 34119) (Property 2) Interested parties may contact the District's Real Estate Agent, Laura Smith to request a copy of the Bid Package. The Bid Package details the proposed conveyance, reservations(including a reservation of the of the gas, minerals and groundwater), and other important information as to the Property. Bidder's may bid on both Properties or an individual Property; ALL BIDS MUST BE SUBMITTED ON THE DISTRICT'S FORM PROVIDED IN THE BID PACKAGE. BGISD reserves the right to reject any & all bids & to waive any informality in bids received. Bids received after the deadline, faxed bids, & electronic bids will not be considered. Sealed bids will be received until: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, 7-15-2026, whereupon the Bids will be opened & read aloud at the BG High School Main Entrance, 212 W. Grady St, BG,Texas 76626. The Board of Trustees will accept or reject the proposed bids at their regular meeting on Thursday 7-23-2026 at the Library at 212 W, Grady St, BG, Texas 76626.
