There is light to moderate brush cover throughout most of the property except the far East side, the low country on the North end, and some canyon bottoms that are more heavily wooded. Red Berry Juniper and Mesquite are the primary trees, with Oak trees dotted throughout the ranch. Other browse types include Lotebush, Yucca, Sotal, Catclaw, and Prickly Pear. A few of the more notable grasses on the ranch include Sideoats Grama (the state grass of Texas), Blue Grama, Black Grama, Buffalograss, Little Bluestem, and Green Sprangletop.
